The Ultimate Guide to Free Stuff for Moms To Be

Pregnancy is an exciting yet expensive journey.

Lucky for us, many websites and brands offer freebies, samples, and giveaways for expectant moms to help ease the financial burden and celebrate this special time in your life.

And let’s be honest – who doesn’t like free stuff?

I liked recieving free baby stuff, not only because they’re free, but also because I could try all sort of pacifiers, bottles and creams to figure out what my baby liked best.

Just a heads up: Sometimes, you might have to cover the shipping fees, set up a gift registry, or join a rewards program or newsletter (but hey, you can always opt out if your inbox gets too crowded).

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. This post may contain affiliate links.

1. Baby Registries:

Signing up for baby registries at popular retailers like Amazon Baby Registry and Target Baby Registry can unlock a treasure trove of freebies and discounts.

These registries often offer welcome boxes filled with samples and coupons from various brands, as well as great discounts for items remaining on your registry after your baby shower.

I recieved the Amazon welcome box, and thats what you need to do in order to get it:
You need to sign up for Amazon Prime if you’re not already a member, make an Amazon gift registry, toss in at least 10 different items on your registry, and buy at least $10 worth of stuff from it (even if someone grabs a $10 item for you, it still counts!).

Once that happens, just log in to claim your offer and score a box packed with a mix of full-size, sample-size, and travel-size products sent your way.

The contents might vary depending on what’s available, but typically, you’ll get around 10 items for baby and mommy.

Another nice sample box I recieved (but payed shipping for) is Hey, Milestone. No subscription, no registry – no strings attached!

The box is filled with products and coupons for both mommy and baby from brands like Herobililty, Lansinoh, Dr. Brown’s, Bessie’s Best, Boudreaux, Zahlers, Eucerin, Bella B, Nanobebe, Childlife, Hello Fresh and more.

2. Maternity and Baby Brands:

Many maternity and baby brands offer free samples and gifts to expectant parents.

Websites like Pampers and Huggies frequently provide samples of diapers and wipes. Similac and Enfamil offer free baby formula samples. Signing up for newsletters or loyalty programs on these websites can grant you access to exclusive offers and promotions.

Another thing I like from Pampers is Pampers Club Rewards program. After you join the Pampers Club, download their app and start scanning the codes from the diapers and wipes you’ve purchased. Every scan racks up coupons and points (aka Pampers Cash), which you can cash in for more diapers and wipes or even trade it for other goodies like gift cards.

3. Healthcare Providers:

Your healthcare provider may also offer free resources for expectant parents.

This can include informative pamphlets, samples of prenatal vitamins, and even educational classes or workshops. Check with your OB-GYN or midwife to see what resources they provide.

4. Online Communities and Forums:

Joining online communities and forums for expectant parents can be a great way to discover freebies and samples.

Websites like The Bump and BabyCenter have active forums where members often share tips and links to promotions they’ve found, allowing you to take advantage of these offers too.

5. Parenting Magazines and Websites:

Parenting magazines and websites frequently feature articles on where to find the best freebies and samples for expectant parents. Websites like Parents and What to Expect often highlight special promotions and giveaways.

6. Baby Fairs and Expos:

Attending baby fairs and expos in your area can be a fun way to score freebies and samples while browsing the latest products and services for parents and babies.

Many vendors offer free samples of baby products and coupons for future purchases. Check websites like The Baby Show or Baby Palooza for events near you. Plus it’s a fun way to meet other moms to be in your area.

7. Social Media and Influencers:

Follow your favorite baby brands and influencers on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Brands often host giveaways and promotions exclusively for their followers, giving you the chance to win free products or samples. Examples include @gerber, @carters, and @johnsonsbaby.

By taking advantage of these offerings, you can not only save money but also enjoy the excitement of preparing for your little one’s arrival.

So go ahead, sign up, explore, and enjoy the perks of pregnancy!
